There are two further classifications in the right triangle that also make it an important figure to study, and they are known as 45-90-45 right triangle and 60-90-30 right triangle. These two classes are called special right triangles because they have certain characteristics that make calculations on the triangle easier. Those characteristics are the ratios of their sides. 60-90-30 has a ratio of 1:√3:2 and the 45-90-45 have a ratio of 1:1:√2.
